These are the links I promised. Here you’ll find several activities for you to practice combination of verbs with “to” and ”-ing”. Please read, explore, and practice with these links.
1. This is a page from the British Council where a deep explanation on the topic is presented, by the end of the page, you will find some practical exercises.
2. This is the same page of before, but this time verbs with “-ing” form are reviewed.
3. This is a practical exercise from the Oxford University Press.
4. A “must use” site I strongly recommend to you. Find here a very good way to practice grammar.
This list of links has been given to you as practice for the second partial exam. Please notice that using verb patterns in sentences and being constantly exposed to these structures will be the only way to master them. Feel free to ask questions via email or to this blog.
Have good time practice!
